In spring we are helped out at our birth
We have 6 legs
we never bring any food home just eat it
when the one we fancy fly we go to
some of us die on the way
The one still alive by fall are left to die outside our home

My mom REALLY wants me to get into an Ivy leage school. She has made sure I made perfect grades and everything.

So, my question is: do I have a chance at all?
1. All A's since kindergarden (starting highschool)
2. going to a magnet school (hopefully)
3. in the national junior honors society
4. Have completed 3 high school credits before completing middle school
5. have gotten commemded performance on every single TAKS test since 3rd grade.
6. volunteer
7. Play French horn (i dont know if that matters)
8. Vice-president of a couple of clubs at my school

im not talking about community college, i mean state colleges. im not super lazy or anything i work hard, i just wanted to know if its really difficult to get accepted into a good college. any advice on HOW to get accepted? what makes u look good on an application?

Is it okay to have a couple B's on your high school trancript? Does it really affect my chances in getting accepted? What kind accomplishments do you have to have for them to even consider you? What are certain activites or certain qualities a person has that they really look for? The more information i get about how to get accepted in Ivy League would be oh so helpful.

I studder when I read. But when I read in my head I read totally normal. I am going to join drama as an elective in my high school. But I totally forgot that I studder alot! I know drama class has alot to do with reading but I also know that I get teased when I studder. Even in my church. What can I do to improve my reading skills?

Ok i'm looking for the perfect bible versus to descibe the following.

That you don't need to be special for god you use you for his kingdom and ministry.

It doesn't matter if your not good with words, etc. Because it's not about what you can do it's about what God can do. Its about his strength not ours.

Remeber numerous bible versus would be helpful but quality more then quantity.

I am a big fan of homeschooling. I have been homeschooling my kids for years. If anybody asks me about homeschooling they would be sorry they asked, because i would go on my soap box for an hour, (if anybody would have time to listen) and go on and on about the advantages. I too, am fed up with the big S question-Socialization!
However, i notice that on Yahoo Answers, any time somebody comes along and states an opinion against homeschooling, they get so many negative ratings that their answer is hidden.
I think people are entitled to their opinion. One person for example came on saying he/she never met a homeschooler who is socially 'normal' and that is his or her experience with homeschoolers. This person's answer was hidden due to negative rating. All this person did was state their experience. Everyone is welcome to explain to this person why he/she may be having this kind of experience and why their judgement can be in error. But why all the negative clicks?

This was actually a great question, although I think it was asked facetiously. Why was it removed?

I think future students need to realize the value of this question, because a good teacher NEVER stops learning. They are taught by other teachers, their environment, books, the media, and most of all by their students. It is so very important that teachers learn all they can about their students, in order to be able to teach them!

Anybody care to comment on this?
