If you are a Educational Professional and work with children with disabilities or worked around them, tell me some types of toys you recommend for them and why? Or the types of towards that are age appropriate, gender-related and good for children with disabilities.

Any feedback you have would be great. Do you find it easy to locate toys for children who are disabled?

My 4 year-old grandson's Pre-K teacher says he has not learned to write his full name or his telephone number or home address and does not differentiate between consonants and vowels , though he can name all letters of the alphabet. Therefore, he may have to repeat Pre-K!
It has been my general understanding that girls develop learning skills more quickly that boys at that age, but the trend averages out as they get older.
My elementary school principal felt that children in the last year before first grade were better off staying home with their mothers (but that was nearly 60 years ago). My mother held me out of Kindergarten (which was optional then) with no apparent impairment in my learning.

I was supposed go give a speech in one of my classes, however, there was an out of state death in my family, a person who I was not very close to but still was obligated to go to the funeral, so I had to miss my speech. My teacher told me that there would be no grade deduction if I showed documentation of the death. What does this mean? I do not feel like I am in the place to ask for a death certificate, would an obituary do? What other documentations of death are there? Thanks in advance for any help.

I want to go to a university called Quest, near Vancouver, Canada, its brand new, and i feel, that its being the first private university in Canada, it is bound to make headlines, but my parents prefer me going to Richmond in London, into which I have been accepted conditionally ( must do 2 summer courses and pass them ), because Richmond is "known"...
Also everyone who has been to Richmond claims that its horrible, whereas in Quest being new, i would get a chance to be the first to anything while also sort of changing it for the better.Someone please help, what do i do ??
P.S-they also cliam that richmond is better since we know people over there who can watch over me, and that they ca come visit often.

I gave this homework assignment last night and had the kids do two of the problems in class, so they knew what to do on their own. I get one back today with the nastiest note ever! About how I need to do my job and make sure they understand their homework. I was so insulted! Do parents really expect that their kids will always know how to do their homework? I didn't when I was in school.
