Here's the problem. In the UK a student will finish Secondary School (which I think is our equivalent to High School) with suitable examination grades that will enable them to attend a University as an undergraduate in order to obtain a degree (BA Hons or Bsc Hons), thereby becoming a Graduate; certain colleges can award degrees but only if they have university status or are affilliated to a university that awards degrees.

What is the process in America? I have found myself becoming confused with Students who 'graduate' from High School, but then you have 'Graduate Schools' , students who 'graduate from College' and of course Universities themselves.

My daughter wishes to obtain a degree in America but we are not sure what route it is we take, Help!
