I have to design classroom activities for my ESL students in Catano, Puerto Rico, and I would like to know if you guys know some good English language activities/competitions to improve my students' ESL skills. I always try the traditional spelling bee, dictionary contest, poster drawing, essay writing, etc. So, I was just wondering if I could get something else that is still fun and challenging. i'm a sophomore in high school but i'm taking college math and next semester will be my last year of math, my major is Bussiness Adm. and i'm currently taking Calculus and I was wondering whether I should take Calculus 2 or Statistics. Everyone's telling me to take Statistics because it's good for my major but I think I should take Calculus 2 because it'll look good on my transcript. What should I take?

the reason why I don't want to take both is because we are only allowed 11.90 units per semester of college classes and math is 5 units. Also i'm trying to work on classes for my major so I can graduate with my high school diploma and AA degree at the same time.

I have a quote here from Romeo and Juliet and I have an assignment that I have to right for English.
Can anyone give me some commentary on it.
I have to do about 20 of these quotes and I really need help with this one.

The commentary needs adjectives and it need to talk about how their actions prove to the reader that their love is strong.

My classes over all are okay, but I am really hating college. I have no friends and no social life. What can I do to change this? Everything cost SO much Money!!

I wanted to take a road trip and visit old highschool friends but that cost so much money!!

I want to move out of my parents house but I can never save enough money to do it b/c I am always spending money on stupid things @ walmart and what not.

I just got paid and I wanted to go out and do all this stuff then I realized I would barely have any money left.

I am just not having any fun. I never get to enjoy myself.
Should this even be a concern of mine? Maybe I need to focus more on school and doing well? Isnt thats whats most important?

I am worried that I wont have any fun/interesting college stories to tell when I get older....

I know there has been a lot of debate over the years as to whether sixth graders should be placed in elelmentary school or middle school. Personally, I feel that as long as they are receiving the same educational benefits that they would receive in a middle school, they should remain in elementary school through the sixth grade or even through the eighth grade. I think many people forget that a 12-14 year old is still a kid. They deserve nurturing and support just as much as a second grader does, and let's face it, many middle schools do not provide this.
