What are some influences that affected Frank? May include significant people, places, events, groups?? Were they positive or negative?? Thanks...:)

I would suppose that his father was the greatest influence, both positive and negative. His father's drinking and chronic unemployment were the main reasons for his parent's divorce but Frank loved his dad and resented his mother for turning him away. His teachers in the local Catholic school were also both positive and negative influences. The mean-spirited neighbors and heartless relatives who felt it was unnecessary to help his family when they were poverty stricken were negative influences as was his mother's cousin that the family lived with for awhile. His siblings were mostly positive. He loved his brothers and they looked up to him to care for them when the mother and father couldn't.
