It is proven that children are able to better learn language at a younger age. The older they get the more difficult it becomes.

She will have a better accent and a higher fluency level. She will be able to take advanced courses in high school and test into higher levels in college.

The perception is that "everyone speaks Spanish." This may be true. That is why someone who is fluent in French is very valuable. They are harder to find and are still needed in business. I have known people who get jobs simply because they speak French. You can train anyone on a computer program, etc. It takes years to learn a language.

your benefits would be the entertainment of your daughter learning French. A French immersion program would teach her french in an interesting way. In Middle school, she could take advanced french and accelerate through language in high school and college.

The sooner your daughter will hear French, the better she should be later at speaking French. Kids learn better when they are young. Speaking a foreign language can only be a good thing!
