it's about time to register for junior year, and with my medical carreer path in line it seems that I'll be taking 3 difficult AP courses next year (the maximum per year at my high school). I'm about a B+ student on average, so should I drop an AP or try to do all 3? (I'm very busy and have events every day after school, but this year I have 1 AP and 2 honors classes and I seem to be managing just fine)

Hi, i'm currently a second semester freshman in college. Last semester, i didn't do so well because it was my first year and i received a 2.2 GPA. My major right now is Chem/Biochem and following a pre-pharmacy curriculum. As of this semester, i'm doing much better but i'm still concerned that the GPA i received in my first semester is going to affect how pharmacy schools are going to accept me. Should I be worried?

I visited the University of Notre Dame this summer for a football game and fell in love. The Grotto, the marching band, and the beautiful campus all came to me like it was heaven. If you plan on doing one thing in your lifetime, make it going to a Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football game. When I went to the mass at the chapel on campus after the game, I promised myself that I would do anything to get a chance at going to this school. I need tips from anyone (suggesting graduates from there or know someone from there) on what I need to do to get in to this amazing University!!!(tests, studying, time, projects, homework, etc.)

It always seems to me that very good students don't know how to explain things to poorer students (I am myself quite a good student, and find myself often unable to understand the problems other students have). Therefore, doesn't this mean that to be a good teacher, you have to understand how the poorer students learn?

It's for a college application, please tell me how to make it better: (it's asking for me to describe an interesting educational or work experience, does this count?)

I volunteer weekly with Adult Literacy, a tutoring group that help convicted and abused men and women to obtain GEDs. Every time is interesting for me to see people from all walks of lives coming together to learn. Once, I tutored a mother along with her daughter. The mother told me that her husband tried to stab her to death. And while I was speechless, she described how her and her daughter’s lives will improve if they can obtain their GEDs faster.

My student is planning to go to America for further education. She is in Year 11 in China now and she will take the TOEFL next month. She's wondering when to go to Berkeley or UBC is better for her. She hopes to spend less money and shorter time.

for two days this week so far i've stayed home from school because i'm sick though i have to admit i could have gone to school and my motives for staying home were based on not wanting to do a speech the next day that i wasn't prepared for but now i've writen the speech though i haven't practiced as much as i would have liked, i have the choice to go to school tomorrow or not but I'm having a hard time deciding on what I should do...
Pros:
1. can sleep in
2.don't have to do speech unprepared
3.don't have to go to school
4.don't have to do anything else tonight (homework/practice speech more)

Cons:
1.homework build up
2.boredom tomorrow
