i need homework. i am stuck on this one problem.

the side of an equilateral triangle is 10cm. the altitude of the triangle forms a right angle with the base. find the length of the altitude.

answers a) 5cm b) 5squareroot 3 c) 5squareroot5

and thats all it gives me.

Right now I am a senior in high school. I plan on going to a community college this fall and then maybe in 2 years transferring to a University. The problem is I don't really know what I should go for. I thought about photography and web designing. But I don't know how that will go for a career. I want to do something that involves traveling, because that's what I love to do more than anything. I live in Florida right now. Any suggestions on a career? Or one that I don't know about? Or how I can decide on one that interests me?

I had passed in my english exam but due to improper presentation my teacher failed me by 5 marks.
After hearing about what had happened to me my parents and friends have started to make me feel inferior and they have stopped encouraging me to perform well.Instead they point fingers at me like as though i have commited a crime.Now Im undergoin serious trauma as it is the first time in my life that I had failed
What should I do to overcome this.I need help please.

even though...

-i dont live with my parents & havent in over 2 years
&
-i recieve no support from them

according to FASFA (free application for federal student aide...aka.. financial aid)

i am still a dependant of my parents b/c im:

1. not married
2. not a ward of the court/state
3. parents arent dead
4. not 24 or older
5. not working on a masters degree
6. dont have kids
7. have not served for the armed forces.

It's such bullshit. so they are basically telling me that the fact that i live on my own & support myself is my own problem because i should be with my parents & supported by them until im 24 or married. you know.. i wish i did but unfortunately for me - my family doesnt want kids in their households anymore.

if i dont get financial aid - ill never go to school. :(
i cant afford it and no one will help me.

ideas? encouragement?

Students in Malaysia usually complain about the uniforms that we wear to school... Some said that its ugly and some say we shouldn't wear uniforms to school.. For me, I like uniforms that looked really smart and nice like those in the British countries or Japanese or Korean school... But to be frank, wearing our uniforms make us feel hot too...!! I said this because some said that our uniforms are specially designed for the hot weather here in Malaysia.. What do you think??
