It can be really hard to motivate yourself to do school work when there are so many more interesting things going on. I've found that setting aside time every week specifically for studying can help.

I personally prefer shorter increments of time, and more of them, where I set a goal for myself and treat myself when its achieved. For example, once I've read and highlighted 1 chapter in the book, or completed an assignment, I take a break and do something fun.

Get a job in the food service industry while you're in school. Soon you will realize that if you don't get a good education you will be stuck with jobs where you are over worked and under paid.

I worked as a cook and waiter while I was in high school and college. It was the best motivation to keep me in school.

Now study!
