If I have $40,000 of student loans that are currently deferred, is there a way I can get some of this forgiven? My degree is in Business Management and I work in the Human Resources field. I am would like to pay off as much as possible as I am a single mother preparing to send my own child off to college in a matter of a few years. I know that if someone is a school teacher or becomes a full-time school teacher, they can have some of that loan forgiven. I believe the same is also true for Doctor's but I wonder if there is anything for professionals who are not in the teaching field or medical field. Even if someone has had this same experience this would be great information. I know I am responsible for paying it off but I wanted to throw this out there in the atmosphere to see if there might be any loopholes of "forgiveness" for any other professionals. I've heard you can go overseas and do volunteer work but overseas is not an option for me at this point in the juncture. Thanks!!!!!!

That must have been a PAIN in the A$$ if you were in college and you would have to phone instead of email everytime you needed to make an appointment with a Professor, or find a book in the library without a library website search, or find research materials, etc etc
sounds really difficult!

How do IQ tests acutally work? I've seen people say like 128 but surely it would vary each time you took it? Surely after doing like 5 IQ tests you would perform much better than someone who is supposedly the same but who is has never taken an IQ test?

How many times can the mensa test be taken?

Okay I've been trying to go into home school for some time now, but the counselor says I can't because it full. But then my friend goes and see's if she can can go into it, and they let in no problem! I don't think it's fair. Why won't they let me in? So I was wondering is there another way into it besides going through the school? Because I think my counselor hates me! Even my mom talked to school/ counselor about it. Help? .... Also personally, I think it's because my dad works for the government and they don't wanna lose any money by letting me go. Because they make more money from kids' parents who work for the government. =/

It has to be in question form. It can be on ANYTHING. I'm only 11 but I'm smarter than other kids. So I guess that would mean I would be 14. Something fun, but A LOT of information. I am planning to do something like this.
Question Will Be Here
There will be a question then another question
and another question and yet another question
the help answer the first question and possibly under those questions could be other questions

That was just an idea. Thanks!

I want to start my daughter earlier than allowed by the local school system. I'm willing to have her tested to see if she is in fact ready for this leap, but want to know if it's even possible to start her if the test says she's ready. And who do I contact about getting a test? AND, my daughter tends to clam up with strangers, especially when one-on-one, so how can I make sure a test is accurate?

My daughter is 4, her birthday is in December, which means she won't go to kindergarten for another year and a half. She really seems ready NOW. This concerns me because I don't want her to get bored waiting around to learn new things. I have a bad habit of thinking that she is way too young for something, then she goes and does it no problems. She figures things out on her own all the time. For instance, she can tell time to the hour. No one taught her this, she just figured out how to do it. She started daycare in the fall, and she has really thrived in the classroom setting- listens to the teacher, follows directions, etc. She has started reading a few words, doing simple math, etc.

I think she is ready, and want to have her tested to be sure. One problem- she clams up in one-on-one situations. Her teacher says whenever she takes my daughter aside to assess her abilities, she totally shuts down. I've seen her do this many times- it's like she can't stand the
