I think generation Y is even stupider than the baby boomers were.

Is it reasonable for a 7th grader to take the following things : latin, chinese, violin, piano, and karate? I think that is too much work for a 7th grader. Also I think learning 2 languages at the same time is to much work. Violin and Piano lessons weekly. Along with karate 3 times a week. I think this is too much work and no time to have fun. What do you think? =]

I was browsing the children's section at Barnes and Noble when I came across this book. In my opinion, it is not something pre-school children should see. It is very detailed in explaining that sex feels good through text and illustration (nude cartoons doing the deed). This is like dangling a carrot! Why don't they just attach a vibrator and say "Here, try it out"!?!? I can respect that some would find this book a good teaching tool, and that everyone has different views of when children should learn about sex. However, I do NOT support the book being placed in the children's section where any child could easily stumble across it. It should be placed in the parenting books where children are less likely to browse. What do you guys think?

ever wonder why when you have an idea, then try to follow the threads in your mind to guesstimate,then research your eduguess's,the facts are real as flying carpets.

really sucks, when you just honestly want to find an answer to a simple question,or understand a more complicated idea.
any ideas on how to find the correct facts first time out? I mean i get up and away from the puter, when i get back, its all different. ok who's playing genie? got a bottle?bait?

My daughter is 16 and has Smith Magena Syndrome and its a mystery to me some of the behaviors she is haveing. I do not know anyone that knows someone that has this syndrome. Ok I have to write some metaphors about someone in my life and decided to write some on my son. However, I am not quite sure I am doing them correctly. Please help by telling me if I am on the right path, or even suggestions to fix what I am doing wrong. Thanks.

im not sure where my psat score sheet is exactly (haha) soo im doing this from memory. please bear with me!

i got 99% percentile for the first section (cant remember what its called, reading and things i think?) with a 75 i believeee. for math it was like 85% percentile, like 69 correct questions i believe. writing was my best, it was 99% percentile with something like 78 questions right. my overall percentile was 96%, and my overall score thing was 199.

not sure what this means. im a sophomore and i will be taking them again and will probably do much better on the math (not too happy about those scores!). i would love for someone to tell me realistically what these scores MEAN in the real world. im not a grrrreat student, i just got my report card recently and it was like two As and two B+s (we have block scheduling and so, only 4 classes). im typically an A-B student, sometimes straight As. id really appreciate college recommendations and that type of thing.
