It states he is an international student (Bahamas), which is much more relevant than his racial status. He also has a master's degree in a non-medical field and is a non-traditional student based on his age (and Northwestern's guidelines). Graduate schools do take all of these factors into consideration, some very highly. He may also have had a great "story" (yes, this can make a difference!)

The other benefit of a foreign student is how they pay for school. Yes he got a scholarship (but pretty much everyone gets scholarships for medical/law school!) but he does not qualify for FASFA or other government programs which allows the school to have more opportunities to give money to other students.

i'm a woman n i'm shy til u get to understand me. i will sit in college quiet n not verify with everybody n wen ppl verify with me i'm getting worried...... yet when ik u n were friends i'm much better outgoing .... I purely get worried round more recent people n i'm getting scared..... adult adult males continuously calls me lovable n lovable cuz i'm shy, short, were given a fabulous body, im sweetheart til u piss me off, stuff like that......

He is african american. Also, less important, he has great GPA and lots of community service.
