Use search...Coat of arms. A coat of arms is similar to a Power Point presentation. It is a one stop visual aid that highlights a families history with symbols.

I'm not sure what grade or class you are doing this for, that may actually help.
I would suggest talking to your parents/grandparents and finding out some of your heritage. If you find out that you are from Ireland, google image search for Irish coat of arms and use that as an outline. You can put in things that are significant to your family. Perhaps your family has royalty in it somewhere, or were farmers.
Good luck!

I've never done one, but just put something that represents your family, and draw it. Per say, if you think your family has strength you could draw a lion or a weight, or else you could divide the coat of arms and color it... ill put some pages for you to get and idea of what i mean, and maybe you could get some ideas for yours!!
goood luck!!

I don't know your family history - like if you're french, british, american, irish, etc... but what about seeing what kind of mix you are and putting a representative of that x country you are mostly from on your coat of arms? also in talking to your family what traits do they most stand behind, truth? virtue? honesty? being a bully? independence? perhaps put an animal that represents that trait, put your own symbol that you like in your coat of arms

Anything to do with your family - if you are lucky your family name may have a crest.
