I have to defend my undergraduate honors thesis in March (or April) but I have no idea what to expect. The honors office says it roughly resembles a graduate or dissertation defense but I don't know what those are like either. Any graduate students, professors, or other undergrads (who have done this) out there? What can I expect?

A nipper is a drillers' offsider in the mining industry and I believe is only used in Australia. I have heard one version that it refers to the dog on His Masters Voice logo (that apparently was a foxy named Nipper) but I have been unable to confirm this.

Here's the deal. We've only had 1 week of school. The teacher assigned us an accounting problem to be done in Excel spreadsheet. I had no problem with this because my 1st accounting class required you to do ALL your work in Excel and it had to be perfect(perfect format, formulas in the appropriate cells etc.) so since I was told that this would be expected of me in any future accounting class, I have used this format for everything. Because of these things I am being told that the work is not mine and that I copied it from the solutions manual. I asked her to tell me what parts of the spreadsheet make her assume that it wasn't my work and she said stuff like the format, and the formulas used in the cells, basically the stuff that was drilled into my head in my first class. I guess she assumes that I wouldnt know how to use Excel and that I wouldn't prepare the spreadsheet professionally because quote "other students did not present the same similarities"

I need a really chessy title for this essay. HELP!?
we have to do a report on an animal. and our science teacher, she said this time she would give us extra points if we had a really catchy, corny title. EXAMPLE: tick. "THEY SUCK. (YOUR BLOOD)
and my animal is the MAN OF WAR JELLYFISH and i cannot think of a title. all i know is that its a really dangerous animal and its shaped like a battleship and also has a body shape that lloks like a sail sail. so if i could put that info together and make a realllllly corny title.

5 days a week, 40 miles each way. I would be driving a car and living with my girlfriend because theres no campus housing and it would be most convienent. Housing is very expensive near the school...so its a tough decision. any other suggestions? besides living closer

You see, for school, my teachers made us do this stupid project in which we have to research American civic duties, and Ancient Rome's civic duties. And when I mean civic duties, I mean like, voting, or paying taxes, or charity. I know enough about America's civic duties, it's the Rome's civic duties that I need help with. My school's principal decided our school will have an end-of-year event. Each student has to write a persuasive essay about what should we have. Here is how the letter goes: Your principal has announced that your school will be having an end-of-year event. However, it is up to the students to decide what the event should be. Some students think that an after school dance would be fun and others would prefer a field trip to a local museum.

I don't know what to write about so can you please help me pick a topic and get me started on my persausive essay.
