The semester just started and we are talking about the scientific method and laws, hypotheses/theories and etc. There is one question that I quite don't understand in my chem book though:

What is wrong with the statement, "It is just a theory"?

My Daughter has a science project due next month.(She's in 5th grade) It is suppose to be a demonstration. We had an project picked out but I don't think it is going to work and I am fresh out of ideas. This is an age old question in the school system.

How do you deal with a female student who is allgedly prostituting herself? (a student under 16 years old to be exact).

I've had a recently surfacing problem in classroom management which is only getting worse by the summer. Female students are wearing provocative clothing that makes them look older and more developed (despite the fact they aren't). One such student in particular has stopped wearing school uniform and wears tight pants, a tight shirt that shows off her bust - and if that wasn't enough, the administration has told me she used to invite boys from school and her neighborhood to her home to "hit it" for $.

How do you even deal with this?

Her parents supposedly know about this as they removed her from school for a semester and sent her back to her country. WELL she's BACK IN SCHOOL and I assume she's "BACK ON THE BLOCK".
