Oooh my favorite topic.......quotes.....

1. "Such is life" - These were Ned Kelly's final words before he was hung. Ned Kelly (in case you were not aware) was a infamous Australian Bushranger.

2. "He who spends more than he earns is sowing the seeds of needless self indulgence from which he is sure to reap the whirwinds of trouble and humiliation" This is a quote from a very popular book on how to get rich titled "The Richest Man In Babylon" by George S. Clason

3. "Those who can, do...Those who cannot, teach" This is a very well known quote, only thing is I forgot who said it.

4. "Out damn spot, out I say. Will these hands ne'er come clean" This quote is from Macbeth written by Shakespere. I forget the actual scene but it was after Lady Macbeth and her Hubby killed MacDuff (I think that was his name) and she is trying to wash away the guilt.

Is that enough. I hope so cause I just got writer's block.

No wait it is clearing up.......

5. "Bah Humbug" Mark Twain's character; Ebenezer Scrooge said this in the book titled " A Christmas Carol"

6. "I have a dream......." Martin Luther King

7. "True love is the only heart disease that is best left to 'run on' - the only affection of the heart for which there is no help and none desired" - Mark Twain

8. "On the one hand we'll never experience childbirth, on the other hand we can open out own jars" - Bruce Willis

9. "But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find some one to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous." - Carrie Bradshaw, Sex and the City.

10. "I've been on so many blind dates, I should get a free dog" - Wendy Liebman.

Ok I think I should stop now.

I hope these help.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.
Dwight D. Eisenhower

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
