The answer is ADHD is real and its being over medicated.

I think it is over diagnosed. I think children are over stimulated with what they watch and what they eat.
Think about it, when you watch TV, the scene changes almost every 2 seconds - so there is so much for their tender brains to process. And on top of it, most processed foods use a lot of sugar in their ingredients - so kids are on a sugar rush.
I'm not saying there aren't kids who have ADHD, but it seems there are a lot more cases today than 20 years ago.

I believe it is very real----I have a child who suffers from the disability-----of not being able to focus on one task at a time. With his meds he was able to complete all of his task in the time schools allowed you,however when he did not take them the teachers were calling me every day telling me what my child had gotten in trouble for that day. I do however suggest that med be your last result----try every means possible because each child is different in how they react to treatment.
