My Daughter has a science project due next month.(She's in 5th grade) It is suppose to be a demonstration. We had an project picked out but I don't think it is going to work and I am fresh out of ideas. I was hoping maybe some of you wonderfully smart people could give me an idea for a science project that could be demonstrated. Since my husband is in the National Guard we kind of wanted to do something military...but I am open to all ideas...any suggestion?

plant ones are easy once you get the plants and stuff. depending on how much time you have left you would do something about plants growing toward sunlight, (Phototropism) like get a box, cut a hole in the box, put the plant in the box,, and have the hole facing a window and after awhile watch as the plants slowly moves toward the hole. its easy. sry i have to do the following for my entertainment: 1. cut a hole in a box 2. put your junk in that box 3. make her open the box 4. make observations =D
