I think high school can be one of the most difficult social settings for teenagers. Many teens are still struggling to figure out who they are, while also trying to find their niche and fit in ... all while in a situation with tons of peer pressure. On top of that, you are supposed to be learning and figuring out what you want to do and be the rest of your life. And, in today's society, many families are lacking family support because of split families or both parents needing to work outside of the home.

If you are one of the few teens who have things truly figured out already, it can be a positive experience. Try your best to be yourself, rather than focusing on impressing others.

I was an extremely shy person until my early 20's ... I wish I knew then what I know now (in my 40's) ... it would have made life and high school so much easier!

i think high school sucks the only good thing about it is your friends and that you get to see them everyday.

it can be good for some people, and all aspects might SUCK for others. depends who you are.
ifyou have good friends (real friends) to guide you along the way, you're fine
