many say that standardized testing is bad, because it can't really measure one's level of intelligence. why is it so bad? and is that the only reason why it's bad?

I have a C in my class, I feel like i deserve a C+. Yes i know that sounds ridiculouse, but that C+ will let me transfer. What are some good points to make in the duscssion that can persuade the teacher to raise my grade. I have showed up to every class, and done everything. The only reason my grade is not good is due to tests, which i am not good at taking.

Any suggestions?

To get answers for their homework?

I've seen kids ask questions in all areas of schooling - even some that seem to be in desperation mode - as if they are in the middle of actually taking a test while they ask the question.

Does this go un-noticed? Is this encouraged? Is this factored in when grades are given?

What's the deal from a teacher's perspective on this.
