I don't think you should make an exuse. If your teacher finds out you'll get in more trouble then if you just say " I'm sorry I did not do the assignment." Your teacher will have more respect for you also if you have a "reputation" of making up exuses. :) do the right thing.

My brother used the paper for a craft project. and got glue all over it.
While on my way to school, I didn't notice my backpack was unzipped and the paper was loose in there. It must have fallen loose out into the street or something...
My mom got so frantic when my little sister scraped her knee, that she didn't notice it was my paper she used to clean of the cut, and got it all covered with blood.

If you post the problems that you're having with your homework, someone might be able to help you, and you won't be needing any execuses. Anyway, I don't think that "the dog ate my homework" would work in your case. Good luck.

well...when i was in 4th grade, my brother hurt himself and had to go the the emergency room. i spent the entire night there, so i got an extension on the project i had due the next day.
or say you felt really sick last night and went to bed when you got home from school and didn't get to do any homework because you didn't wake up until you had to go to school. (maybe say that your parents made you go to school)

these are really funny garfield ones.....I was at a rally demanding higher salaries for teachers.......I left my brain in my locker........I had a brain cramp........I got carried away with my origami and I folded it into a Canada goose.
