I want to do something that will really make a difference. I want to somehow bring to light all the poverty and sickness in the world and get everyday citizens to help out. What career could I use to inspire average people to help and at the same time give hope to people are living in terrible conditions?

How much can a final affect your grade?

I have an 88% in algebra 2 going into the semester final. math is easy for me, so the only reason i dont have an A is because i slacked off.

anyways is it theoretically possible for me to pull that up to a 90% due to the final exam? if i knew the conditions of the grading system, i would do the math myself. (what i mean by that is, i dont know what % the exam is worth towards my final grade).

assuming its 20%, and it wouldn't be higher, i need to get a perfect score. which is possible, this stuff is pretty basic. but im skeptical i can pull it off and get an A. im hoping someone can prove me wrong.

everyone makes such a big deal about finals, but when you really think about it, unless you bomb a test your grade won't change much at all. and in my case, that sux cuz its gonna be hard to raise it.

Getting motivated...?

I can't get motivated in my school work.. im already 2 years behind because of an illness so i can't bare to be yet another year behind.. i got my work like 2months ago, and everytime i sit down to do it, my mind wanders, or there is something else i "need" 2 do.

Also i'm finding it hard to read, to concentrate.. i'l read a sentence and have to read it again.

I used to get okay grades (B's and sometimes C's) but now - one math paper i did - i got an E (!!!!!!!)

i NEED to get better for what i want to do at college..but i just can't.
i'm so stressed out.

I also do it myself at home so there is noone there to nag me on, but this can't be changed right now..

I only have til june07 or mayb november07 to do.. maths, english and geog.. an then until the june 08 to do my physics as well as biology... i just feel sooo snowed under.. even though i havent even started it yet..!?!?!

I just don't no what 2 do..Can anybody help?

Any tips on getting motivated?
