Here is an idea. In order to join the peace corps, you have to have a college degree, because of this they have a list of different types of degrees they are looking for. Contact them for this list. You may not be interested in the peace corps which is fine, but that list of degrees should give you some ideas!

Study whatever it is that interests you. First of all, few people actually wind up working in the field that they majored in when they attended college. Second, you will not succeed at something that you don't truly love. So choosing a career path like social worker or teacher may not be a great idea if the only reason you are doing those things is because they are considered "noble" or "helpful." Someone who loves the law, public speaking, and research should become a lawyer; if he or she loves helping people, too, then legal aid, ACLU, etc. is the way to go. Even a few CEO's have done great humanitarian work through the companies they founded or ran.

Well you can be a teacher. Because bad education is the route to all the violence and poverty around the world. Maybe even join the peace corps. But the power to mold a young ones mind is one of the greatest rights you can be given. Or if you would like to make more money while helping people. Maybe you should become a doctor thats what im doing. But not to many are keen to that idea.

From my very very own journey that's extra advantageous to stay at college than to delay because of the fact finally that's what you gain at college that lays the inspiration to your occupation. An entrepreneur BA may be a precursor to an MBA which might fairly lots assure you a sturdy interest, notwithstanding if self-employed or not. the great element approximately education is that that's often an asset and no-you could take that faraway from you. the different element is that it takes money to stay. in case you supply up college you will quickly understand which you elect money to stay to tell the story. as quickly as you're working to pay your costs, that's going to likely be extra tricky so you might return to college because of the fact you will choose the money which you're used to having.

Social work. It is hard work, and not rewarding in general, but you see the way you touch people's lives by helping out a single person or a family at a time.
Or you can go into medicine, and become a traveling doctor or nurse. That way you help where some need it most, in the more remote parts of the world.

Great ambition. Become an actress and do as Angelina Jolie, become an anchorwoman to be the next Oprah, marry a prince to be like Lady Di, or just go help and maybe become the second Mother Theresa.
If that's too difficult you can study psychology, education and see what happens.

Get a Masters and a teaching credential and then work in missionary schools in slums around the world. Or in slums in our own world, how about that. But, teaching is the way to bring light into individual lives and into the world and to spread hope and change lives.

I'd definitely would consider psychology if i was in your shoes. You could be a psychologist and that would definitely be helping people out. Maybe not a huge scale of people.. but definitely on a one on one basis which can be more powerful anyways a lot of times. Goodluck finding something :)
