I want to be a 3rd or 4th grade teacher when I get older so, for practice I try to teach my brother multiplication. He just doesn't get it, the work that he turns in to me is all wrong and I don't know how to teach him better. I usually get very frusterated because he doesn't get the easiest things. Does this mean I am going to be a really bad teacher when I become one?? What do you teachers do when one of your students does not understand something at all and turns in there homework all wrong? When you are a teacher do they have workbooks that teachers can look off of to teach the lesson a little better so the students will actually UNDERSTAND it? Thank you to all who answers!!

I have to write a Biography about myself but I'm not sure how I should start it off. I mean do I, for example say, I was or she was born, etc? Do I write it in 3rd person or what? Can someone give me an example? Just a few sentences to give me a idea, u can make the sentences up but just give me a example.. Thx so much in advance and the best answer gets 10 points!!!!!

my story is about a cleric (a student who spends all his time reading and loves to learn) and he's trying to teach his son who reads all the time a lesson. the lesson is that you should study but you should also go out and have fun.
im telling this lesson by having the father tell his son a story of when he was younger that he entered a contest of knowledge, kind of like jeoperdy or wheel of forutune, something like that. so i want to write that he wins the first 2 rounds but loses the next 3 because the first 2 rounds are about things a cleric would know but an average person wouldnt, and the last 3 are about something an average person knows but a cleric wouldnt.
my problem is, is that i dont know what the category of the rounds should be.
the first i might do astronomy and one of the last 3 will be town events.
so the opponent wouldnt know about astronomy and the cleric wouldnt know about the town events cause hes in his house all day.

I am preparing my portfolio for the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards. I have found it to be a very vague and non supportive process. It is for English but the teacher wants us to write something that pertains to our major, mine is nursing. The paper is 10-12 pages and I have to be able to find at least 8 sources. Has anyone had a college interview before? My interview is with a Yale alum and her husband, who is also a Yale graduate... so basically I'm being interviewed by two alums. And it's at their house. I've never had an interview before, so I'm really lost. The person said the interview would last about 45 minutes.

What do the interviewers usually ask? Is it mostly talk about the school or is it about the applicant? like.. get to know the applicant better? or is it a mix of both?

How long did your interviews last?

And what should I wear? The interview is at their home... would jeans be acceptable? Dress pants are a bit too.. formal, right?

Haha and also, any extra info about college interviews would be highly appreciated! Thank you :)

Yep !! I've just opened a Crocodile sanctuary next to a childrens nursery. Problem is, they've just bought a bouncy castle and this worries me as its dangerously close to the 3ft boundary fence.Some of the kids have pogo sticks and bounce up and down the narrow path teasing the 15 footers with their uneaten pack-lunches. One kid was reported for dangling his younger sister over the wire and yanking her back as Big Jake reared up and snapped at her ankles. Mrs Snapplejack from Biology said that
he would grow out of this, but can anyone reassure me of this?
