Biographies about yourself are usually done in first person because you're talking about yourself. The ones that use third person are other people. For example, many historians use biographies to describe people in the past. You can do it third person but most likely it's done in first.

An example(1st person): My name is Ichigo and I was born on May 4th, 1990. The country I live in is Canada. I’m currently in high school and my strongest subject is science.

Another exmaple(3rd person): Ichigo was born on May 4th, 1990. The country she lives in is Canada. She's currently in high school and her strongest subject is science.
(Part of a made-up biography for both)

I hope this helped for you.

I have always read biographies in 3rd person. An auto-biography is written in 1st person. If you go to www.biography.com and read a few on there, it might make you more comfortable when you start writing yours.

Start it out something like this:
Born on January 1st, 1970 in Somewhereville, New York. Jane Doe was born the 3rd of 6 children to Janie and John Doe, a prominent writer and producer. She began her career as an actress in 1975, when she landed her first commercial for Smuckers Jelly.

Insert your info, of course. Good luck - hope you get a good grade!

These days you can learn how to play guitar over the internet. Check out Mark McKenzie's guitar video lessons here: http://www.jamoramaguitar.com The videos are very easy to follow and to my surprise extremely helpful even for advanced guitar players. For beginners I would have to say this is a gold mine.

I was able to improve my skills in just under 4 weeks and I am an intermediate-to-advanced guitar player; I've been playing guitar for the past 6 years and I was on stage with my band a lot of times.

I live in New York City, I wanted to go to a pro guitar teacher but that would have cost me over $1400 per month. Good thing with this internet, $1400 it's a lot of money for me. Good luck!

First person is most common in biographies....ex. "My name is...I come from...I like....". However, it would be extremely unusual, not to mention innovative, if you were to write about yourself in the third person (second is awkward)...ex. "She was a pleasant child, or at least appeared to be. But behind the jovial veneer was a hurt of which no one could ever know, a secret which battered itself against her brain until she screamed." Or, be regular, and say things like "Everyone is a hero. Whether you skip a grade, get a perfect SAT score, or cure an illness, you are a hero for living through this thing we call life, this rose which, although pricks you, entrances you enough to keep hold of it. I am a hero" etc.

Biography is written about someone else.
An autobiography is written about yourself.

Just write it however you want!

Here is a paragraph on me:
Hey everyone! I'm Erin, now a 16 year-old junior who will soon be out on the road, so watch out! I'm completely obsessed with 3 Doors Down, as you could tell. If you don't like 'em, then don't tell me... it's better that way. There are so many things I want to be, but my main goal is to sell at least one best-selling novel. I also want to master the guitar, piano, and drums... I'll be taking guitar and piano lessons this year. In the future, I either want to be an author, website designer, photojournalist, or journalist... maybe all four in one! Besides 3DD, I also love life, the stars, daydreaming, night time, music, concerts, bowling, tennis, adventures, nature, and the rain. Unconditionally, I love my friends, family, and my new pet guinea pig named Snickers. I would love to travel all over the world, but mainly to Europe. It's a dream of mine to go to Italy, Spain, and France (Paris). I either want to live in NYC or on a beach.

If ;you are writing about yourself, you are writing an autobiography, so you write it in the first person, as in,
"My memory begins at about age four. I'm not sure where I am, but someone is showing me a sailing ship in a bottle and I'm terribly dissapointed because I can't take the ship out of the bottle and play with it."

Basic things to remember while writing a Biographical sketch for MBA entrances specifically Is as follows:

Include important and relevant points required by the institute as mentioned in its qualification and admission criterion.

For MBA in most colleges we need to fill academic history (10th, 12th, grad score), number of years of experience, reputation of college of graduation, certifications, extra academic passion in line with the course applied ( like say oration, story writing, sports, social work etc. )

Introduce yourself, keeping in mind the requirement of the institute you are applying to.

Well start it out in third person, if not ask the teacher shouldnt be hard to change, start where you were born who had you about you growing up, places you liked, family style, major important events, your friends, people who were important, your jobs, just glase over your life, think about memories like trips and stuff, how you got your name.......

Britanie(me) lived and grew up in dallas texas, she lived on a farm and milked cows as a chore, she loved hanging out in the loft of the barn with her best friend Jill, she was a very unique individual, her first tooth was lost at the age of seven because she fell down, she had to have knee surgery at the age of 12 due to the fact that she had fractured and completly destroyed her knee.

the above is not true at all I just made it up. but I hope this helps.

plus ask your parents, siblings, grandparents, friends people like that about memories of you.

What do you think? Your opinion is valid too. It's your biography. Write it the way you want.
