I teach freshman English at a community college. This semester I am teaching an on-line section. I will surely have the students read each other's drafts but I was hoping they could get even more feedback from the fine people who answer questions here. Would it be appropriate for my students to come here and ask people to read their drafts? They would obviously have to email the drafts to willing people. Do you think people here would be willing to help new writers in this way?

So My teacher wants us to think of like 3 collages we want to go to so he can get us like the aplacations(sp.?) for us by the end of the school year and I need to know by tommarow he gave us 4 weeks but I im dumb and just barly thought about it.What is your oppinion on like a good collage I was thinking about "Uof A" University of Arizona cuz like alot of my family went there and they said its a good school and Nicole Richie went there and she is soo kool but that is not the reason I wanna go there tho.but idk I dont want to go to any of these Colleges in Cali they seem dumb but any ways what colleges would You suggest to go to??

I was thinking about this recently: I think I know far more homeschoolers who started out with their kids in public school, got frustrated with various things and decided to pull them than I do people who have homeschooled from the start.

Is this the same for you? Do you know more people who pulled their kids than people who homeschooled from the start?
