One of the most tragic things I know about
human nature is that all of us tend to put off
living. We dream of some magical rose garden
over the horizon-instead of enjoying the roses
that are blooming outside our window today.
-Dale Carnegie

As gold more splendid from the fire appears;
Thus friendship brightens by the length of
years.
-Thomas Carlyle
---------------
He drew a circle that shut me
out,
Heretic, rebel, a thing to
flout.
But love and I had the wit to
win;
We drew a circle that took him in.
-Edwin Markham
--------------------
Finish every day and be done with it. You have
done what you could. Some blunders and ab-
surdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon
as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it
well and serenely and with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with you old nonsense. This
day is all that is good and fair. It is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations, to waste a mo-
ment on the yesterdays.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
--------
Life is a gift to be used every day
Not to be smothered and hidden
away.
It is not a thing to be stored in
the chest
Where you gather you keepsakes
and treasure you best.
It isn’t a joy to be sipped now and
then
And promptly put back in a dark
place again.
Life is a gift that the humblest
may boast of.
Get out and live it each hour of
the day,
Wear it and use it as much as you
may;
Don’t keep it in niches and corners
and grooves,
You’ll find that in service its beauty
improves.

To me this is the most meaningful quote out of the five to me!

... I think that that poem people can relate to the most and has the most truth in it.

The ones by Dale Carnegie, and Ralpho Waldo Emerson.
These two I like as well:
Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself
"I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it"
- Groucho Marx (his name is kinda contradicting. lol)

"If Tomorrow Never Comes"
If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep
I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord your sould to keep.
If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door
I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more
If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise
I would video tape each action and worse, so I could play been back day after day.
If I knew it would be the last time I could say I love you
I would spare an extra minute or two and say "I love you" instead of assuming you would know I do
If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let this one slip away
For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight
And we always get a second chance to make everything right
There will always e another day to say our "I love yous"
And certainly there's another chance to say our "anthing I can do's"?
But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get
I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike
And today may be the last chance to get to hold your loved one tight
So, if you're waiting for tommorrow why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day
That you didnt take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or kiss
And you were to busy to grant someone what turned out to be their last wish
So hold your loved ones close today whisper in their ear
Tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear
Take time to say "I'm sorry" "please forgive me" or "it's okay"
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today

While I was typing "If Tomorrow NEver Comes", I got a little teary eyed because it's so true!! Even I'm guilty of taking my life and the people around me for granted, because really anything could happen.

once you're merely going to apply what somebody writes for you, you ought to besides replica one from the generic. certainty is gorgeous, with out doubt; yet so are lies. --Ralph Waldo Emerson Peace if a hazard, certainty in any respect expenses.-- Martin Luther to a pair particularly an insult, to others existence from the lifeless. --Gary Amirault while a properly-packaged internet of lies has been bought gradually to the masses over generations, the certainty will look completely preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.-- Dresden James the choice of a best assertion is a pretend assertion. however the choice of a profound certainty could perhaps be yet another profound certainty.--Niels Bohr

I think that by putting these out there for people to read you have made a difference. As little or large as it may be, they have made their mark on someone! Therefore i would not only say that I indeed like all five and refuse to pick just one.......but I would also say (without any intention of seeming like a kiss axx) the best was the actual question YOU posted. It got people to read them all. good show!
