I started school in 8/04 and now have accumulated 64 credits. So not to allow myself to get discouraged I usually take 2-3 hard classes or required then 1-2 for my own, just to keep me happy I'm in school. I am slowly taking Pre-Pharmacy requisites. I feel even though I was off to a bad start, education wise, I feel if I can do the pre-requisites. Which is more math, science etc. There should be no reason I can't reach my ultimate goal of becoming a Pharmacist. Anyone have any thoughts on this or can relate? Let me know. Not all of us were born with a silver spoon in our mouths or have had the opportuinity to go to college let alone finish High school. Better late than never 8)

I like Spanish and Biology a lot and have a passion for both subjects.I passed AP Spanish Language exam with 3 and I am currently AP Spanish Literature and enjoying (Im the the only non-native speaker in the class). I took AP Biology exam and passed with 5.I would be willing to double major in both. Since I hear that admission officers are looking for candidates who are real people and not to focused on acedmics. What do you think? Should I double major in Spanish and Biology or should I major in only one subject.

I like Spanish and Biology a lot. I would be willing to major in either. I hear that admission officers are looking for candidates who are real people and not to focused on acedmics. So taking a major in Spanish is better than Biology. What do you think? Should I major in Spanish or in Biology? I want to major in only one subject.

I'm from Costa Rica and go to one of the best private schools. This school has a very good education level, better than most of the schools in the US actually. However I'm etting the chance to go and study in some of the best boarding schools in the US. All of them are in the New England area. The campus, level of education, diversity of students and other facts make the schools incredible and far better than mine. Should I leave my country, friens and family in order to get a higher education? It's a great sacrifice for me. I have been educated with the American mentality and Costa Rica, though very beutifual and relaxing is just to small for my ambitions. Please help!

Just wondering. I've done interviews at medical school and went all out with the whole pants suit deal (black pants, black fitted suit top, white tailored shirt). That worked well for the MED school interviews, but people have told me grad school is different.

Should I do the same outfit for grad school interviews? Or is that over the top? I could ditch the suit, but I just thought it looked nice. Plus, alot of college professors go casual these days and I don't wanna be way over dressed (or, under dressed, I guess!).
