Does anyone know the latin root word for Owl & Grasshopper? Or does anyone know what 2 words mean "owl-like" (having chatacteristics like/of an owl) or "grasshopper like" (having characteristics like/of a grasshopper)

My son is learning to count and recognise numbers. I have found excellent websites for learning to read, but have drawn a blank for sites which tackle this early stage of maths. There are plenty for slightly later on. Any suggestions? (He is not interested in worksheets, so online games only please - thanks)

Universities ar so eager to accept me, however, don't want to offer me any actual good scholarships - the average has been a $1000-. I'm a minority, poor, i did 200 hours of c.s, played basketball and somehow manged to get decent grades and test scores ( GPA = 3.5 and ACT = 26 comp) but all of the univ that accepted me only offered me a very small scholarship. So far i've won 5 scholarships for $4,000 i'll probably get grants for about another $4,000 but that's only $8,000 and my yearly tuition and fees are an average of 22k (that's in state) so im going to end up owing after my first year $14,000 and then its going to end up being $18,000 (assuming I continue getting my grants) because my scholarships are going to be used up and they're non-renewable. what I'm trying to say is $68,000 for a bachelor degree worth it? I'm so discouraged I don't even want to go anymore!

I already have an A.A. in Liberal Studies and I am looking to go pre-med.

I would like to be a Nutritional Psychiatrist.
Does anyone have any recommendations on which Bachelors and Masters Degree to take?

at annie's home cooked chicken wings resturant, chicken wings are served by the bucket. The biggest bucket O' wings is really big! Lets figure out how many wings are in it!!
If They're removed two at a time one wing will be left. If they're removed three at a time, two wings will remain. If they're removed four, five, or six at a time then three, four, and five wings respectively remain. If they're taken out seven at a time, no wings will be left.


Whats the smallest possible number of wings that could be in the bucket? How do you know?
