Sorry to disilusion all the dreamers but the word hippy means to me the following:

In the swinging 60's:

The BBC created the hippy and nowaday's they try to spread the rumour that we were all drug taking groupies, in truth the majority of people had to leave school at 14 to get a job to help the family budget.

The only people that were hiipy's were from the rich who could afford to go to unniversity.
Unniversity was a word from another planet to the majority, who were just about able to afford a school blazer(secondhand)

The true facts are:

We went out to Mod event's at Clacton Southend and liked Georgie Fame, the Beatles etc.

Hippy's were never in the majority, drugs were heard of but never seen.

Hippy's were from the RICH and able to dream dreamers.

They were able to be hippy's because we worked to pay for unniversities that created people like gordon Brown Tony Blair etc

So BBC tell the truth

I read an article in the newpaper stating that parents think that their kids get way too much homework over the weekend. I agree and all, I mean really! Isn't the weekend suppose to be break from work? You go to school do work...and over the weekend...do more! Projects that you are given for a long period time I can understand. Does anyone agree with me?
