why does it skip E

because f is already failing so what would e represent? FAILING BADLY??

I believe because F can be changed to appear as an E. So, it will be subject to fraud and things like that.

Another explanation that I have passed through: A, B, C, & D are divides the passing grades (example from 60% to 100%) while F is referred to Failure or not passing the subject and it is not divided.

Some schools actually do use an E, but I've heard that the main reason for this is that when everything was hand-written, it was too easy for the students to change the F to an E.
