The Oneness University is not a university in the traditional sense, rather a spirital centre. It was established in 1996 by co-founders Sri Bhagavan and his wife, Sri Amma. According to Bhagavan it was created for just one purpose, "To set man totally and unconditionally free, bringing about the Golden Age of Enlightenment." Bhagavan continues, "This University exists to help you become enlightened; to help you become God-realized; to help you become a real human-being." It is a University where people from all over the world can awaken and return to their original state of Oneness with all that is.

Each month the Oneness University, located approximately 80km northwest of Chennai (Madras), India hosts hundreds of seekers from around the world. Participants for the 21-day Enlightenment Process, the 10-day Deepening Process, and various other classes travel from all over the globe to receive the benediction and teachings offered at this one-of-a-kind University. This University has hosted thousands of attendees from all the major continents and numerous countries including USA, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, Africa, Europe including UK, Italy, France, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Israel, Russia, China, South Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and many more countries.

Oneness University consists of a series of campus' located within 20km of each other. Campus 1 & 2 are located farthest to the west. Campus 3 is located just east, it is where Sri Bhagavan resides and performs his darshans. Campus 4 is also located nearby. Most Westerners stay at what is called the Golden City 2, farther to the east. Men's and Women's dormitories located there can house 250 people at any one time. Large meditation and teaching halls combine to offer a spacious setting where The Presence is felt 24/7. A large dining hall and clean and fully modern restroom and shower facilities complete the campus amenities. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning for comfort. In the future Golden City 1 will open (projected opening is sometime late 2006). It is located just 1km away from Golden City 2 and can house several hundred attendees. Collectively these campus' are often referred to as simply "the Golden City."

My wife and I attended 2 courses at Oneness University in 2005. The 1st course was the 21 day Oneness Process. We returned in Oct 05 for a 10 day Deepening Course.

The 21 Day Course gives one the ability to give Deeksha. Deeksha is an energy transfer and can alter brain function to support enlightenment. The guides who lead the Courses are called Dasas. These are young people many of whom have been working with Bhagavan since 1995 or so. Bhagavan gave them the state of enlightenment around the end of 2003. It is so nice to be in their presence.

We have given Deeksha to several hundred people since returning from India. Many have had very nice experiences. We are very glad we went to Oneness University and can highly recommend it.

You can go to www.onenessmovement.org to find Deeksha Givers in your area.

LOL. I hate to say this, but I thought "Oneness? What the heck goes on in a university with such a cult like name?" and then I read the rest of your question.
You seem to be getting some fine answers.
