Does anybody know where I can find policies for Ontario Catholic Teachers in regards to their personal lifestyle ie. children out of wedlock, sex before marriage, same sex relationships?

Does anybody know any cases in canada that I can use as precedence for supporting the above?

Does anybody know how the policies differ for public school teachers?

I have heard of catholic schools terminating teachers based on their sexuality, based on their out of wedlock relationships, children out of wedlock and even of one women being fired for using IVF...anybody have any info on this

On my FAFSA, can I put my grandparents down as my parents? Although they never had custody of me (mother did) when I was a minor they raised me and supported me financially entirely on their own, I lived with them my entire life. If I must put down my birth parents (who were never married) it will not be a true indication of my EFC and I will definately see a smaller loan or grant amount. What do you recommend?

The topic says it all. I'm kinda worried, because I look forward to attending Baylor for my future Medical career, and I am wondering whether being Christian is a requirement, or if I won't fit in if I'm not Christian.

I am considering majoring in accounting and economics, but my school offers two seperate degrees for the afformentioned subjects. I am already a junior and majoring in accounting, and I hope to become a CPA. Getting an extra degree in economics will take me one additional year of schooling, but I love the analytical skills gained by getting a degree in economics. How will an additional degree in economics help or hurt my chances of becoming a CPA at a big four firm? Will a CPA firm frown upon the additional year of schooling? If I become a five year student, when should I apply for internships?

Please help me out. I need to ask some questions and I need some answers from some senior citizen that were living in the time of the 1940's Below are the questions I would like for you to answer. Also, if you don't mind, please put your name on your answer somewhere. You can make up a name if you want to, but please don't make it rediculous!

Please dicuss briefly on the following:

What was the world like?

What were the common fears at that time?

What would you say would be a common theme of the 1940's?

Discuss a little bit about these topics comparing them from the 1940's to the 2000's:

- Individuality

- Conformity

- Communism

- Women

- "Soaps"

- T.V.

- Music

- Books

- Entertainment

- Family

Thank you soooo much!

What is it called when a derisive epithet becomes the adopted name of a group of people? Instances of this type of event include the origins of the names "Christian", "Lutheran", and "Methodist." All of these groups of people did not originally call themselves by these names, but they all eventually adopted these names for themselves.
