Please help me out. I need to ask some questions and I need some answers from some senior citizen that were living in the time of the 1940's Below are the questions I would like for you to answer. Also, if you don't mind, please put your name on your answer somewhere. You can make up a name if you want to, but please don't make it rediculous!

Please dicuss briefly on the following:

What was the world like?

What were the common fears at that time?

What would you say would be a common theme of the 1940's?

Discuss a little bit about these topics comparing them from the 1940's to the 2000's:

- Individuality

- Conformity

- Communism

- Women

- "Soaps"

- T.V.

- Music

- Books

- Entertainment

- Family

Thank you soooo much!

That's a lot of work for 2 points, 12 if you like the answer. Call a senior citizens home and interview some people there as some of these require long, long answers. You would be better to get a few people together in a group. They will feed off each other and give you better answers, covering many topics. One on one will give you a skewed view.

And video and/or audio tape it to not miss anything.

Good luck.
