A crow was sitting on a branch of a tree with a piece of cheese in her beak. A fox, who had been watching her, set his mind on getting the cheese through trickery. Standing under the tree, he looked up and said, "What a fine bird I see above me! Her beauty is without equal. If only her voice were as sweet as her looks are fair, she ought, without doubt to be Queen of the Birds." The crow was flattered by his words, and to show the Fox that she could sing, she gave a loud caw. Down came the cheese, and the fox, snatching it up, said, "You have a voice, madam, I see; what you want is wits." Just as Aesop's famous fable portrays the slyness of the fox, the Odyssey highlights craftiness, a trait eminently revered by the ancient Greeks. Odysseus, a “man of twists and turns” (1.1), is the epitome of this quality. Although Odysseus was legendary for his extraordinary strength, he relied much more on his quick mind than muscle, a tendency that his encounters proved.

Thanks 4 being patient!

I'm getting ready to graduate and become a special needs/elementary teacher. I want to teach in the county next to me, but there are a couple people there that hate my guts and they are parents too. When I first attended college I went my first year to a community college there (county next to me.) One girl hates my guts beause she heard I called her a racial slur kind of name(which I didn't) One girl hates me because She was harassing my boyfriend (stalking him) and I told her about it. She then started stuff with me at a ballgame (fight) This is high school stuff I know, but these people are still holding a grudge. Thishas been 4 years ago, but I seen the both of them about 2 years ago and they tried to start trouble with me again. Can they as parents prevent me from working here? If they start stuff should I press charges? How can I take care of this problem?

There are houses made from matchsticks.

The first pattern has 1 house and 6 matchsticks.

The second pattern has 2 houses and 12 matchsticks

The third pattern has 3 houses and 18 matchsticks.

There is also a graph with the number of match sticks on it. One side of the graph is the number of matchsticks (m). The other side is the pattern numer (n).

The graph has three points, one at (6,1), another at (12, 2), and the last one at (18, 3)

I need a formula for m in terms of n, but i don't get it. Can you help?

Sorry if you don't get i didnt know how to explain it properly.

I am 2 months into the third and final year of my BA hons graphic design degree. But I'm not happy with it anymore, I hate going into lectures and I find the work a drag. I have thought about taking a year out to work, or find some work experience, then going back to it.

Another option is to quit my degree, and find a job, but what are my prospects? Do employers avoid taking on people who didn't finish their degrees? I still want to go into graphic design, but I feel so lost at the moment.

I would love to hear from people who were/are in similar situations and their opinions.
