I feel hopeless

Typos are one thing; bad spelling is another but the real problem is that people don't seem to know the meaning of the words they are using and can't frame a question clearly.
Is this because schools are failing are are people just lazy and careless?

Magnesium solid reacts with aqueous hydrocholoric acid to form Mg2+ ion in solution. In an experiment, 30.0 mL of aqueous HCl was mixed with 0.0671g of magnesium solid in a double styrofoam cup calorimeter. The raction caused the temp. of the substances in the calorimeter to rise 11.0 degrees celcius. Assume the density and specific heat of the HCl solution is that of water, 1.00g/mL and 4.184 J/g deg. C, respectively. The specific heat of Mg is 1.02 J/g deg. C.

Ok. So far I have Mg + HCl ---> Mg2+ but I have no idea where to go from there. I have to write a balanced equation for the reaction and am stuck....

besides the obviouse coffee, was there anything you did that helped you stay awake to study? i have midterms all week and really need to be staying up in late hours to study bc i work and go to school during the day, and its not really easy for me to stay up late at night..i like to sleep by 11pm-12am MAXXX. im a freshman in college so ive never really had to stay up all night to study before. so please help me with this! what have things have u done or tried that kept u up? im not a big fan of coffee for starters :) thank you in advance and this is TRUELY appreciated!!!

Hello. I find CFGs interesting, however I am having an extremely difficult time visualizing how to construct them. For example, if I am told (a^m)(b^n)(c^p)(d^q) such that m + n = p + q is the definition for valid strings in the language, how can I convert that to the CFG syntax? I can see from the m+n = p+q condition that the resulting string is going to be something that can be divided equally (ie. even) but I can't see how that would help me. Also, it is possible to choose "nice" strings that are in this language, say aaabbbcccddd because then I can break the string into two rules like:
X--> aXb | e
Y--> cYd | e
Then I assume you just add a start a start line like:
S--> X | Y | e

This is the solution I get from the speically chosen string. I doubt that my CFG above is correct for any string in the language. Can anyone provide some guidance and tips? Thank You so much.
