How does a story about a "weak" female contain feminism?

I have to write an essay related to this but I'm having a hard time explaining. It's a story about a woman who seems crazy because she sees things, and the husband is shown as the rational one. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Maybe because what she sees is real to her and her husband is not giving her validation for her vision? I don't know for sure. I might be able to help. Email me (though Yahoo! answers and I'll try to help more)

Is it "The Yellow Wallpaper?" If it is just google it; there is lots of introspection on that piece.
