How do you pronounciate the letter "i" when it has 2 dots over it? Does that give it an "e" sound?

There isn't a certain word. I just need to know in general.

Oh, and I only put "pronounciation" b/c "pronunciation" didn't look write written.

The word is "pronounce" and we would need to know what language you are speaking. In French the two dots are called un tréma and, yes, it is pronounced as a long e like in the word bee.

Actually, "pronounce" is A word, and "pronunciation" is THE word in this case.

And yes, it depends on the language...instead of asking us you could also type it into an online translator, FYI.
