This is a college physics problem. I could use any help anyone can give me on this problem. I am stuck and cannot get to the right answers that are in the back of the book :(

The red cart is given an initial velocity of v0 (v knot) = 2.40 m/s to the right, and the blue cart is initially at rest.

Q: What is the final temperature when 11.5kj of energy is added to 10.0g of ice at 0 degrees C.
specific heat of liquid water: 4.18 j/(C g)

I've spent the past 6 years of my life trying to figure out what I want to do with it. I have finally come up with something, I want to be a Paranormal investigator. Im aware of how pointless some think its going to be but Im not asking how usefull you think it is.

i'm commuting to the 4 year college and it sucks! so much traffic and stress....someimtes up to 90 minutes away from my job and home....people are snobs. i want to go to comm college in my town so i dont have to commute. any tips/advice/stories to share? i'm the 1st person in my family to go to college, so i'm pretty much on my own. thanks.

i'm an eighth grader @ a school in southern california. and i'm having what people might call a panic attack. at my school, parents going to conferences are mandatory. that's okay. but the STUDENT HER/HIM-SELF going to the conference is also mandatory.
AND.
here are the questions that I really, really want answered...
*is a B- (or lets say.. an 81) bad considered to teachers, adults, and parents?
*i have a B-.. will the teacher say anything about it?
*what do you think the teachers will talk about...?
*will it be really awkward?
*should I be scared?

in all my other classes, i'm doing okay. B+s, A-s, As... but in SCIENCE with the weird science teacher that has a weird accent so that we dont have any idea what we're hearing... i'm getting bad grades.

So far I've heard China, Russia, India etc due to their large numbers of people, however I was thinking maybe it could be a smaller area such as Phillipines, or Switzerland etc, or maybe a country that has a high percentage of people who travel (Sweeden, etc).
