according to various books that i have read, it was agapito flores, a filipino, who invented the fluorescent but according to my teacher it was just an urban legend. i am making an article about false history and i want to feature a.flores but i still don't have facts.....

How do you use a quote by a fictional character and properly credit it? Do you put the character's name after or the author of the book. The quote I am trying to use is from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Professor Dumbledore says it. Do I do it like this: "It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."-Albus Dumbledore, or do I give credit to J.K. Rowling?

I would love to tell people that my daughter attends Harvard or the likes. She said she wants to attend an ordinary state school!! Can you believe it? Even though her grades are superb, she tells me she doesn't want to attend an ivy league because she doesn't want to be surrounded by "spoiled trust fund kids," as she puts it.
