Do you feel that special education has been helped or hurt by No Child Left Behind?

I know this is vague...All I know is that I don't want something in the medical field! Is there a way to figure out what interests me most? I like so many things and I don't know what to go to school for? I want to have a successful career and be happy with it, I just don't know where I should start or how to figure this out. I'm so indecisive - I've thought about teaching, something in design, criminal justice, law school....the list goes on, I'm a very open minded person, which makes this hard for me. I don't want to be thirty and still not have a career you know? Any advice as to how I can make up my mind?

I'm in 10th grade, and I signed up last minute. The test is in 8 days. I would like information about the general format of the exam, whether or not it has essays, and similar information. I have not studied for it in any way, since I just signed up, but I am not very worried in that respect because, being in 10th grade, I am taking it as practice for the SAT, and nothing else. Next year, in 11th grade, I'll take the PSAT again to aim for scholarship money. I would greatly appreciate any information that you may have about the PSAT exam. Thank you!

My God daughter recently had a baby, and would like to go back to school (trade school college). Due to complications with her pregnancy she was terminated from her job because she couldn't take the extra time off. For the past month she has been on welfare. I know there are 2 types of finacial aide programs pell and something else. The other one she has to be 24 to be considered "independent" she's 21. so she will need her parents tax returns, they make alooot of money but don't support her in any way. the pell grant she will be considered independent and can claim her daughter as a dependent. does anyone know if being a welfare recipient gives you more financial aide assistance? does it even matter if she's on it. I see so many others getting school paid for by welfare. I'm just trying to help her by gathering some info to help encourage her to get out of the system. she wants to improve her life, not stay stuck on food stamps....helpful comments are welcomed, so are stupid ones.

I always study in the libary, because i found it to hard to study at home. For the first two hours of study I find it ezy. I then take a break, 2hr(lunch) but when i come back my speed dramatically falls. When i am studying (mainly reading books) i feel an anxious feeling.

I have often marveled and wondered how the heck a large group of birds can ALL change direction at the same time and stay with the rest so well. If people could drive like this, there wouldn't be half as manyu accidents. Anyone know their secret?
