(b) Determine the acceleration of each object.

2. A 76.0 kg man stands on a spring scale in an elevator. Starting from rest, the elevator ascends, attaining its maximum speed of 1.57 m/s in 1.40 s. It travels with this constant speed for the next 5.00 s. The elevator then undergoes a uniform acceleration in the negative y direction for 1.80 s and comes to rest.

(a) What does the spring scale register before the elevator starts to move?
(b) What does it register during the first 1.40 s?
(c) What does it register while the elevator is traveling at constant speed?
(d) What does it register during the time it is slowing down?

Is it true that you can do better on a quiz or a test by studying the information over a longer period of time rather than studying primarily the night before?

I attended a certificaiton class just recently. I am a working adult. Certification for this procedure would have been a nice compliment to my profession, a very comptetive one in this area. This made the course 1 of only 2 offered here in the U.S. was criticle for me to pass.I did not pass. The instructor seem to have negative feelings towards me, or my proffesion .why is unknown to me. The instructor itimidated me from asking clarifying questions during class, & humilitated me. When she meet with me one-on-one after the other students left, she treated me like a parent would treat an 8 year old while questioning about missing cookies or such. She berated me for not being able to give her verbal text book answers, or answers to questions that were not covered in the book. I am a strong, intelligent woman ,but after 2 hours of this, she had reduced me into a blubbering idiot. I am sure I could not even have told anyone my name correctly. I need educated advice on how to handle this,

Im now a sophmore in high scool. and im still looking for a career path i should take, and its not that easy. Though the things i have come up wit his i either want something to do that creative..leaning more towards design, or developing something....also ive been looking at being a pharmasist or something in medecine

My qualities are im creative, draw alot, used to go to art school, caring, and patient as people say
