ok for anyone who went to college, how did you chose your college and your major?

im ony 16 and have a while until college, but i have multiple places i want to go to college, and multiple things i want to do.

how did you decide?

Okay guys, help me out please. I need to write four thesis statements that I could possible use in an essay. The thesis statements are for a persuasive essay that deals with not drinking out of a canned soda without prior care because of the disease Leptospirosis from rat urine. If you don't know what a thesis statement is here ya go:

A thesis statement, also called a thesis, is the main point that is to be proven by an essay. Usually backed up by examples, the thesis statement is the theme of the whole piece. The thesis statement also provides the reader with a general idea of what the essay is going to be about. Thesis statements are very specific and to the point. This way the essay stays focused and narrow on the subject matter.

Please help me out really quick. Thanks!!

right now im mainly focused on getting the grades i wantttt which i do have but the thing is i dont really have time to study for the sats... how did you guys get through your junior year? i mean all this hard work will pay off in the end so im trying to pull through. are grades more important than a HIGH sat score?

oh yeah does anyone know how i can get an internship type thing for engineering or any other program. i mean im interested on going into an engineering field but i want to get a feel of it first to see if its truly what i want.

I am a Learning Disabilities teacher...elementary level. I have ten students.. the district I work for just pulled my aide due to budget issues. The problem is this: I now have to figure out how to schedule students into one persons schedule and they don't fit. Program support came out and she couldnt make it work either. I have three studets that I couldnt even get placed on my schedule. I have no prep time and the last email I received from The sped boss was....I lnow you can figure it out. Be a leader and make it work? I wont cut student time, as what is on their IEP's is what they need. I have done some creative grouping..what next? Any suggestions?

Our public schools teach children to learn complicated esoteric mathematics and memorize specific dates from history and all kinds of other useless information, but never seem to get around to teaching children how to approach one another and be a mature responsible human being. I think public schools should be required to have a class in teaching children how to learn responsibilty, manners and empathy...Does anybody else agree with me? It seems like our country is full of air heads who have alot of technical information but have no ability to understand how to treat one another.
