Hi, I have one try left for my homework and I need help with my reasoning. Can anybody help?

A) Mass is a measure of the inertia of a body. False
B) In order not to slow down, a car moving at a constant velocity needs a small net force applied. True? This would only be false in an ideal, fricitionless setting right?
C) An object's velocity will change if a net force acts on the object.True
D) If a net force acts on an object, the object's speed must change. ?
E) The net force which acts on an object which remains at rest is zero.
True because F=ma and if a=0 then F=0?
F) If two objects have the same acceleration, they must be under the influence of equal forces. False, they could have difference masses, therefore different Forces

Suppose that a population of caterpillars is polymorphic for color: the allele for brown (G) is dominant to that for green color (g). You hypothesize that brown beetles have a fitness advantage over green beetles because the species prefers to rest on the brown twigs, making the brown form difficult for predators to detect. You capture, mark and release 112 brown and 66 green caterpillars, the recapture them later to measure survival. You recapture 56 brown and 22 green caterpillars. On the basis of these data, determine the fitness (W) and selection coefficient (s) for each genotype. Do these data appear to support your hypothesis about the relative fitness of each phenotype?

Airplane flight recorders must be able to survive catastrophic crashes. Therefore, they are typically encased in crash-resistant steel or titanium boxes that are subjected to rigorous testing. One of the tests is an impact shock test, in which the box must survive being thrown at high speeds against a barrier. A 41 kg box is thrown at a speed of 210 m/s and is brought to a halt in a collision that lasts for a time of 6.6 ms. What is the magnitude of the average net force that acts on the box during the colision?

A duck has a mass of 2.5 kg. As the duck paddles, a force of 0.10 N acts on it in a direction due east. In addition, the current of the water exerts a force of 0.18 N in a direction of 46° south of east. When these forces begin to act, the velocity of the duck is 0.08 m/s in a direction due east. Find the magnitude and direction (relative to due east) of the displacement that the duck undergoes in 2.5 s while the forces are acting.
