Ronnie Milsap:
Work for the fun of it, and the money will arrive some day.

Kahlil Gibran:
Work is love made visible. And if you can't work with love but only with distaste, it is better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take alms of the people who work with joy.

Work is not man's punishment. It is his reward and his strength and his pleasure.

You always pass failure on the way to success.

Ok. How to achieve your target: first you must specify what the target is. This target must be written in clear unambiguous terms, usually as a behaviour which can be identified or a product measured or a process that can be evaluated. The target must be achievable. So before setting out to achieve your target it must be clear as to what it is and when you have achieved it.
Three broad examples to illustrate what I mean
1. a behavioural example: I will research on the web this week and produce detailed notes with complete references on the causes of First Crusade
2. a product example : I will achieve a second class Honours degree, at the end of 3 years study
3. process example; (always more difficult to evaluate) I will train hard to improve my football game, as judged by my coach and team mates at the end of the season.

Its good to have targets so you know where you're going and where you're coming from :) good luck!! :)

If ur target is for the good causei can say is set the mind to fit for achieving the target first and all the steps taking after that should be done as such it is clearly leading towards the target, dont skip ur mind from that, all ur thinking, action should be always only be towards that..no compromises should be done inbetween.. and

if ur target is for the bad cause, all the above steps will not work...
