you could make it using thermocol.but there is one problem and that is fixing of the thermocol.clay also could be used.convey my best of luck to your son.i will send the photo soon.could u send me your email id for that.u can get mine by clicking my avatar.

If there is a library that you borrow books from, ask for Anisha Shekar Mukherji's "The Red Fort of Shahjahanabad". You will find all the details you need in it. As for making the model, try using red oxide on paper. When the paint dries, the paper becomes stiff, and therefore, can be bended into shapes.

Make it with clay.powder the bricks and put it in the model.
