i need to do a report on someone famous with accomplishments?

What about Pope John Paul III, he's quite famous but not known to some people. And with most of his accomplishments, it'd probably make a good report. ^^

Well, I sense you have a question here, but you didn't ask anything. You mean two people, famous at different times? How about the Wright brothers, and then Jimmy Doolittle? They were all into aviation, so you could tie your report together easily, but their accomplishments weren't in the same time period.

Try George Washington Carver. He's so fascinating. He was a black inventor and he beat all kinds of odds to become a successful man during the slavery years. Look him up, you'll be amazed to find out how many of his inventions you enjoy after all these years!!!

Lee Iacocca. He is a great guy, did a lot for the automovitve industry. He's the father of the Ford Mustang, the minivan, and a few others. If it wasn't for him, Dodge/Chrysler would not be around today.

You could search the Inventors' Hall of Fame for inventions, then read the profiles to find someone interesting. For example, choose electricity, then select lasers and you'll find 4 inventors you've probably never heard of who had really impressive accomplishments.
