My teacher is so bipolar it seems. She's always mad and takes it out on me, i guess cause i'm her teacher's assistant. Then other days, she'll be all nice and stuff. If i go and talk to somebody when the whole class is talking, she'll yell "go to your seats", and she'll keep yelling it until i go to my seat, while everyone else is out of their seats.

I'm a jr at my HS and about to take my SAT in Oct. BBut i'm curious as to why its So hard to get into calleges these days. It seems to be getting harder and harder .

! ) what is making it so hard to get in ?
2) When will the admissions process "burst" (b/c of so many application)?
3) How much lower will admissions get before this system breaks ?

In english evry week i have to memorize 30 words and i have to memorize a ton of stuff for spanish and arabic (its my first year takin arabic, second for spanish). Does anyone know a way i can memorize things faster and easier? i usually just read the word over and over again, and writing it down dosnt help that much either. i usually forget by the next day. any suggestions?

In general, I think most people whose fav. sport is a snow sport, and fav. season is winter, would most like to go on vacation somewhere north. Or vica versa.

My son has been in school for a month now and he still don't like to go. we tried to stay with him, taking away his games, putting him on punishments. but he still don't like to go. He does good through out the day he does all his work and listen to the teacher. It's just gettin him there. He will follow u out the classroom when i go and drop him off. and he will cry. I don't understand why it's taking him so long to get use to it. Do anybody have any tips on this. I would like to know everyone input.

How would you feel to be the 6th grade reject? Do you think that the teacher could even comprehend the emotional problems that would come from it? Do you think that the system calls it plagiarism when the parents help the child with their homework?

The teacher should only ask if the student is helped by parents. After all the teacher will find out if the student indeed learns anything when it comes to test.
A teacher can inflict long lasting damage upon a child when they single her out in front of the class and deride her with the accusation that her parents do her homework. Even if you think it’s legitimate for a teacher to consider parent-assisted homework to be plagiarism, you have to hold a teacher accountable for publicly shaming and libeling a child.

I'm in 8th grade & I already know what career path and University I want to take part in. I want to become a Lawyer and go to either Duke or Yale University...I've always gotten A's & B's on my report card & everyone says I'm really smart. I've been in some form of Advanced Math my whole life.I'm taking Freshman Algebra right now in 8th grade.
