No WAY. Not by a long shot. I go to school with an 80 year old who began when he was 76. It's never too late. Remember, 40 is the new 30! Seriously... I really want to encourage you to go for it. It will be difficult, yes, but I think you will find it liberating and extremely rewarding. God bless!

NO No NO.It is never to late to change your life. It's impossible to start again , but never to late to alter your life.I say go for it.LPN school is not a piece of cake, but if you put your mind and soul into it, you'll do just fine! Age is nothing but a number and mayI add, 43 is still a young age!!!! Have you gone to college before? Have you completed any courses yet? You may need to take a few liberal arts classes for LPN school. The best of luck to you!! Oh and it should not take a long time to complete LPn school.I think it takes less than 2 years.

Too old for what? Don't be silly!!!

My doctor did just that, this was his philosophy and I'll share it with you because it made perfect sense. He was 40 and was an insurance person. He decided in 4 years he can be a Dr. or in 4 years he can be an insurance person. He'll still be 44 regardless of what career path he chooses. He decided that he wanted to be a 44 year old doctor. I'm so glad he did.

It is not too late, and you are not too old. You could live until you're 86 and be living with regret or the feeling that you lived your life poorly. Try it - if you fail, well that's okay - because you can fail even without trying.

You're never too old to go back to school and get a better education.
