On my syllabus for chemistry, the bellwork problem for tomorrow is: Write 5.0 x 10 in standard notation.

Isn't that already in standard notation since 5.0 is between 1 and 10? Would the answer be that it already is? Or am I missing something. If I'm wrong, correct my answer and give me your reasoning, or some sort of explanation.

I am doing a documentary on pirates but I can't find a primary source which is a person that lived at that time. There are historians retelling what happened meaning they heard an original person telling it but I can't find the original person. PLEASE HELP. im doing a formal memo and i need comments on two sentences.


my friend help me out with these two sentences:
"First, the condo office told me that there was no water damages and then changed their mind and charge me for the water damage?" and "If there was damage to unit #202 why was I not inform before they ask Terry to repair it?".

the first sentence sounds bad and but i dont know how to fix it.
the second sentence, i was thinking to change it to: " If there were damages to unit #202, why wasn't I informed before they asked Terry to repair them.". what do u guys think?
